Stretch film

Stretch film is used for the wrapping and securing of loads at the minimum packaging cost per palette due to the combination of film’s endurance and low consumption per wrapped palette.   It is extensively used in the Logistics, Food & Beverage, Containers, Construction, Corrugated, Printing, Pharmaceutical and Cosmetics industries

Application: Stretch film is applied on the palette manually (hand grade stretch film) or with the use of semi or fully automatic wrapping machines equipped with different types of pre-stretch and/or brake systems (machine grade stretch film)

Types:

  • Hand stretch film:  One type available, 100% guaranteed stretchable film
  • Machine stretch film:  Range of types available, from films used for standard wrapping applications (150% guaranteed stretch) up to films used for very demanding wrapping applications where high puncture resistance and high stretch capabilities (300% guaranteed stretch) are required

Dimensions: Widths between 250mm and 1000mm, thicknesses between 12my and 40my.  Extra narrow hand stretch film of 100mm width with handle is available

Weights: Standard weights for the machine grade rolls. Any hand grade roll weight requested by the customer can be produced in our rewinding units located in Budapest.  Most common and always available in our warehouses:  rolls with gross weights of 2.0kgs, 2.2kgs, 2.3kgs and 2.5kgs
